During President Obama’s trip to Chicago on Tuesday, the PAA’s Grazyna Zajaczkowska met with the President for a round table discussion on issues of concern to the Chicago Civic Ethnic Leadership. This meeting preceded the President’s speech at the Copernicus Center where he presented the board outlines of his immigration policy as well as a request that all parties work together for the passage of a comprehensive immigration reform act. The President reminded the audience that the United States is a nation of immigrants, woven into one fabric.
