Violent Crime Victim Assistance
Monday, 25 October 2010 15:06

The goal of this program is to help the victims of violent crimes to receive all the possible assistance for which they are eligible. The program also aims to help them cope with the fact they were victims of a violent crime, and to help them to get over this traumatic experience. PAA helps clients to complete applications for the Crime Victim Compensation program provided by State of Illinois Attorney General's Office. This program compensates the victim for medical expenses, loss of earnings and other expenses bared by the victim.

PAA also provides clients with information and referrals, counseling and support, and help with obtaining Police Report.
