Recognizing the mutual benefits of closer cooperation, the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union (PSFCU) and the Polish American Association (PAA) have entered into a partnership agreement, formally signed on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the PAA headquarters in Chicago. On behalf of the PSFCU, the agreement was signed by Mrs. Marzena Wierzbowska, Chairwoman of the PSFCU Board of Directors, and Mr. Oskar Mielczarek, PSFCU President / Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Gary Kenzer, the PAA’s Executive Director, signed the document on behalf of the Association.

The agreement provides that the Polish American Association and the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union will undertake joint marketing efforts, whereby the PAA will be able to promote PSFCU services at its centers, allowing our Credit Union to reach numerous potential clients throughout the Chicago area. The agreement also opens new avenues for rendering financial support for PAA activities.

PSFCU (Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union)

Established in 1976 by a group of Polish immigrants to help their compatriots obtain mortgage loans. It currently has 15 branches in New York, New Jersey and Illinois, together with an Operations Center in Fairfield, NJ. PSFCU also has a mobile branch, used during Polish-American events, and an E-branch available at www.psfcu.com. Through 35 years in business, PSFCU gained $1.4 billion in assets and over 74,000 members of Polish and Slavic origin.
PSFCU, currently the largest ethnic credit union in the US, provides financial assistance to Polish organizations, schools, scouting groups and churches. Each year, PSFCU designates approximately  $1 million for this purpose, including $300,000 for the scholarship program for Polish students.
