2010 Chairman's Brunch
On Sunday, April 18, 2010, the Polish American Association (PAA) held its 2010 Chairman’s Brunch at The Elysian Hotel in Chicago. Honored guest speaker was Maria Siemionow, MD, PhD, DSc, world renowned Polish scientist and micro surgeon from the Cleveland Clinic. While Dr. Siemionow and her story about the first face transplant was very interesting, it was her manner and presentation that made it memorable too. During the event, Solidarity Award for Lifetime Giving was presented to Geraldine Gedroic Lichterman, former PAA’s Chairman to honor her tireless dedication to the mission of the Polish American Association.
