Social Work Internship
The Social Work Intern is responsible for assisting the Social Services Team in supporting and executing a wide-range of projects. Interns will also be assisting Social Service team members on various cases and/or activities.
**For consideration, applicant must have completed AT LEAST a Bachelors in Social Work, and must be continuing their studies in the Social work field.
Interns will gain experience in:
- Clerical and Administrative support
- Co-ordination of workshops and seminars
- Assisting with clerical duties including grant writing, fax, mailings, making phone calls and other functions as assigned
- Researching potential opportunities that are tailored to the PAA’s mission
The ideal candidate would be:
- Attentive to detail and able to meet deadlines
- Able to manage priorities and multi task effectively
- Intelligent, self-motivated
- Good at communicating for dealing with diverse staff and clientele
- Able to maintain high level of confidentiality.

Intern must be prepared to:
- Come into the office at least twice a week
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
