GED Testing at the PAA

The Polish American Association is now a certified GED Testing Center!  Any Illinois resident may take any of the required GED subtests at our Southside location (6276 S. Archer Ave.) on Thursdays from 10:00am to 5:00pm.  Sign up for your test at www.ged.com or call 877-392-6433.  Be sure to use code ILSAVE when you register in order to take your tests for free. For more information, please visit https://www2.iccb.org/divi/freegedil.

Once you have completed all of the GED subtests, and want your Illinois High School Equivalency (HSE) Certificate, please do the following:

  • You need to take and pass the U.S. and Illinois State Constitution and Flag requirement: https://ilconstitution.org/login. Taken together, 4 completed and passed GED tests and the Constitution requirement enable you to receive your HSE Certificate.
  • Contact your Regional Office of Education (ROE) in order to request your HSE Certificate. For Cook Country residents, that is the Cook Country HSE Records Office:
